- 1 pound ground sausage
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (10 ounces) Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups baking mix (like Bisquick)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground sausage and softened cream cheese, mixing until well blended.
- Add the drained Rotel tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, baking mix, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to the sausage mixture. Stir until fully combined.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra spice, use hot sausage or add jalapeños to the mixture.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen; just bake from frozen for an extra 5 minutes.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or spicy mustard.
