- 4 ripe peaches, pitted and chopped
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 6–8 lemons)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the chopped peaches and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the peach puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher, discarding the solids.
- Add the fresh lemon juice and sugar to the pitcher, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Pour in the remaining 3 cups of water and mix well.
- Chill the peach lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- For a sweeter lemonade, add more sugar to taste.
- You can make this lemonade a day in advance; just add ice before serving.
- For a fizzy version, replace some of the water with sparkling water.
