- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and grated ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Once the sauce is simmering, pour it over the meatballs on the baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the meatball mixture.
- You can substitute ground chicken for turkey if preferred.
- Serve these meatballs over rice or noodles to make a complete meal.
