Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
- Cook the wings for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even crispiness.
- Check for doneness; the wings should be crispy and have an internal temperature of at least 165°F (74°C).
- Once cooked, remove the wings from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauces and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the wings for a few hours or overnight.
- Adjust the spices according to your taste preference.
- These wings can be tossed in your favorite sauce after cooking, such as buffalo or BBQ sauce.
