Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup snap peas
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the ground turkey and cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the bell pepper, broccoli, and snap peas. Cook for 3-5 minutes, until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the turkey and vegetables and stir to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to heat through.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if using.
- Serve hot over cooked rice.
Notes
- You can substitute any vegetables you have on hand, such as carrots or zucchini.
- For extra flavor, marinate the turkey in the teriyaki sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Adjust the amount of teriyaki sauce according to your taste preference.
