Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 green onion, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, olive oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.
- Preheat your Blackstone griddle over medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess liquid drip off.
- Place the chicken thighs on the griddle and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the chicken is nicely browned.
- Once cooked, remove from the heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicier kick, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
- Serve the chicken over rice or with grilled vegetables for a complete meal.
- Leftover chicken can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
