- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
- 2 cups bowtie pasta
- 3 cups water
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the meat is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain excess fat.
- Transfer the cooked meat mixture to the crock pot.
- Add the marinara sauce, bowtie pasta, water, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the crock pot. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours, until the pasta is cooked through.
- About 10 minutes before serving, sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top, cover, and let it melt.
- Serve hot and enjoy!

- For a vegetarian version, substitute the ground beef with a meat alternative or skip it altogether.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for extra nutrition.
