Deliciously spicy and cheesy, these Buffalo Chicken Burritos are perfect for a quick lunch or dinner, combining tender chicken with creamy cheese and zesty buffalo sauce, all wrapped in a soft tortilla.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, ranch dressing, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.
  2. Warm the tortillas in a pan over low heat for about 30 seconds on each side, until pliable.
  3. Place a generous portion of the buffalo chicken mixture in the center of each tortilla and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
  4. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top to form a burrito.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the burritos seam-side down in the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top of the burritos in the skillet and cover for a minute to allow the cheese to melt.
  7. Once melted, remove from the skillet and slice in half. Serve with extra buffalo sauce and ranch dressing on the side.

Notes

  • For a milder flavor, use less buffalo sauce or a mild variety.
  • These burritos can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use.
  • Feel free to add additional toppings like lettuce or diced tomatoes before rolling the burritos.
